Appliance Recycling
Appliance Recycling takes place the 1st Saturday of each month from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
Minnesota legislation bans major appliances from the waste stream. Coon Rapids offers the collection of appliances the first Saturday of every month (except holidays) at the Coon Rapids Recycling Center, 1831 111th Avenue (one block east of Hanson Blvd.). Fees - all appliances FREE
Accepted items - ALL APPLIANCES ARE ACCEPTED - Some examples listed below:

- Dehumidifiers
- Dishwashers
- Dryers
- Freezers
- Humidifiers (console)
- Incinerators
- Microwave ovens
- Refrigerators
- RV/Camper refrigerators (extra fee)
- Residential furnaces
- Stoves
- Stove tops
- Trash burners
- Trash compactors
- Washers
- Water heaters
- Water softeners (salt must be removed)
If you are unable to make it to the recycle center, several companies pick up appliances once a week. See the links in the column to the right to call for prices and times.
