Police Citizens Academy

The Police Citizens Academy is a free program offered by the police department each fall as an educational tool to show the public the role of modern law enforcement. Participants learn a variety of topics and participate in lectures, demonstrations, tours, ride-along, and hands-on exercises. Each session will commit to meeting 3 hours, one night a week for 10 weeks (33 hours total). At graduation, each participant will receive a certificate of completion from the City of Coon Rapids.
