Athletic Facility Information

Coon Rapids Parks contain 50 softball and baseball fields, 6 full size soccer fields, 2 full size football fields, 24 tennis courts, 31 basketball courts, and 10 full size hockey rinks (including a full size indoor sheet of ice at Cook Arena).

Practices are discouraged during each sport specific season at Sand Creek Park, Al Flynn Park, the Soccer Complex, and Wintercrest Park. Field use is restricted to game play only to reduce field wear and unsafe conditions. Some of the smaller neighborhood parks contain ball fields and other large multi-purpose areas for a wide range of sport activity on a first-come/first-serve basis.
