New Technology to help Residents Report Non-emergency Problems

Is there a street light out in your neighborhood or a pothole that needs fixing?  Now you can help report non-emergency problems to The City of Coon Rapids by using your smart phone or computer.  Using a new software tool called “SeeClickFix”, residents can report problems to the city in an easy, stream-lined way.  Please note: this reporting system is for city maintenance/public works issues. If you have a need that requires immediate attention or police response, please call 911. Our staff responds to these requests during regular business hours. If this report comes in on a holiday, weekend or after-hours, it will be read on the next business day.

How it works:

If you’d like to use your computer to report an issue:

1. Click on the "Report an issue" tab below
2. Drag the map marker to the location of your issue or type in its address
3. Choose a category from the drop-down menu that matches your issue and fill out the required fields
4. Click “Report your Issue”

If you have questions about SeeClickFix, please call 763-767-6490 or email

If you’d like to use your smart phone to report an issue, download the SeeClickFix App using:

Your blackberry

Your iPhone or

Your Android phone

Once you’ve downloaded the mobile app, you might want to watch a video showing how to use it.

Once you have sent your report, you will receive email communication from the city acknowledging your service request.  You can continue to check on the status of the repair online.  Once the work is complete or the issue has been resolved, you will be notified by email as well.
