Cable Television, Internet and Phone:
Xfinity (Comcast) provides cable television service as well as internet and phone. This company is a franchise operator in our City. Franchise fees paid by Xfinity help to pay for local cable channels 14, 15, 16, 19 and HD 859 through CTN, the Coon Rapids Community Television Network. Residents are able to stay informed by watching City Council and Planning Commission meetings, local news, sports and other entertainment programming specific to Coon Rapids and the Anoka County area on CTN.
Xcel Energy- Provides electricity to the area south of Burlington Northern tracks and Thompson Heights 3rd and 4th Addition. Connexus Energy services electricity needs north of the BN tracks. There are a few homes in the western city limits serviced by the City of Anoka.
Contact the City for sewer and water information at 763-767-6438. Coon Rapids utilizes radio read meters and bills are mailed to homeowners quarterly. City utility bills can be paid with check by mail or in person, or by automatic withdrawal.
