How to Request a Police Report
You may request a police report of our office by filling out the Request for Information Form. Once the form is completed, there are 3 ways you can deliver it to our office:

  • Scan the form and Email it to our office
  • Fax your completed form to 763-767-6435
  • Deliver your form, in person, to our office between the hours of 7 am - 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday

Your report will be processed within 10 business days.

How your Police Report is Delivered
On the request form listed above, you can designate how you want the police report to be delivered to you, whether it be by mail, fax, email or picked up in person. Police reports are free of charge if the report is 4 pages or less. Reports over 5 pages in length, are charged $.25 per page. Payments can be made in person at the Police Department lobby window.

Data Practices
There may be times in which our office cannot process your request due to limitations within the State of Minnesota Data Practices guidelines.

In other instances, our office may need to contact you for further information to process your request. Therefore, it is important that we have your contact information on the Request for Information Form in case our office needs to contact you.
