About the Program
The Police Citizens Academy is a free program offered by the Police Department every even year in the fall as an educational tool to show the public the role of modern law enforcement. Participants learn a variety of topics and participate in lectures, demonstrations, tours, ride-along, and hands-on exercises.
September 7 through November 9, 2016
At graduation, each participant will receive a certificate of completion from the City of Coon Rapids.
How to Apply Online registration is now open! Create an account with our online registration process and apply online. The deadline for registration is August 8, 2016.
After you register online, you will receive additional information in the mail which will require a signature to participate in the program.
